About Us - Duraline

Over 70 Years in Operation

Duraline has been in operation since 1946, starting as a branch of J.B Nottingham. Initially, it was just a distributor of electrical equipment, but over time, it grew to become one of the preferred manufacturers of electrical equipment for the US Navy.

In 2012, Duraline relocated from its New York machine shop to its current warehouse in Deland, Florida. Since then, the company has expanded from just three machines to over 20, allowing us to fulfill our clients' requests more efficiently than most dedicated machine shops.

CEO & PRESIDENT

John Sclafani

Joining Duraline in the 90s working in the office, John worked from the bottom up, getting hands-on experience with every aspect of Duraline's operations before taking on ownership of the company. Working in inventory, John worked through Marketing, sales, and even plant management before becoming the owner of Duraline. Personally taking Duraline into the 21st century and heading Duraline's expansion to the Deland Florida location.

Even now, When not in his office, John can be found on the machine shop floor, or helping with R&D of our newest products.

Plant Manager

George Pajonas

George is a highly devoted individual who expertly balances his time between his family and the machine shop. He plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our Duraline products consistently meet the highest quality standards that we are renowned for.

As the Plant Manager at Duraline, George's impressive 13 years of experience in our shop has allowed him to work closely with our expert machinists and engineers to ensure that our clients receive the necessary parts they need to keep their businesses running.
